Ian was born in Hull, Yorkshire, to Betty and Mike, on the 28th September 1971.
Ian came into this world weighing 5lbs 1oz, he was two months premature.
Ian was such a happy baby, his blonde hair, his smile and his wonderful nature made him special, he loved to have someone pop their heads in his pram and shout BOO BOO which caused him to go in a fit of giggles, which is of course how he got his nickname, which he shortened when he got older to Boo.
Ian has two older brothers, Gary and David and a younger sister Sara who when all together could cause trouble in a empty house (which they did quiet often.) Ian was a very popular lad at school and as he got to his teens he was very often confused with Marti Pellow, lead singer of Wet Wet Wet, and of course he loved the attention, his interests are music, U2, REM, The Verve and Simple Minds, he also is a good artist and very good at poetry. He excelled in Art and always recieved Grade A, in this subject.
Ian left school to become a butcher, and became a very skilled and dedicated worker, Ian doted on his family, he is such a character, very miscievous, funny but most of all a dedicated son, brother uncle and daddy, who would do anything and ask for nothing in return.
Despite some problems in this life, Ian got his life on track and got married and had the baby he always wanted, Connor, the light of his life, he doted on his son so very much. All Ian ever wanted was to become a daddy, sadly one year after the happiest day of his life Ian sadly passed away from pneumonia on the 25-February 2002. There is so much to say and tell about Ian that it would take far to long, just know Ian is loved and missed so very much by all who knew him, but most of all his family. Our lives are forever changed without him.
