MARCH 9, 2003
This morning, I woke up at 9:33 and got ready for church.  As I walked down the hall to the sunday school class, I passed my exgirfriend who had to, of course, say something rude.  I attended the college Sunday school class for the first time, but there were not that many people there.  It was just two girls, Samantha and Kelsy, and me.  That was fun.  They both go to ULM.  Kelsy is a Senior but has a few more years to go because she is majoring in pharmacy.  Samantha is a freshman majoring in occupational theropy.  After that was over, the youth group arrived and brought some burgers, so we ate with them.  After we finished eating, I hung out with the youth for a little while and then came home.  Later, I played a game on the computer with my brother because we have our computers networked together for a little bit.  After that, I got on this computer so I could work on my web page a little bit.  I also checked LA Tech BOSS to check if any of the classes that I wanted were freed up.  I had been checking every day for at least a week now.  My hard work has paid off finally.  The sociology class that I had been wanting finally became available, so I quickly dropped my economics class and registerd my new sociology class that I would be taking with some people I knew.  That made my day, so I went to tell my parents about it and how great it was and then they started telling me that I had better do well, and reminded me of how I dropped my Chemistry class and made a D in calculus.  So instead of my mood being messed up, I promptly left the room and came back to the computer were I am typing now.  This is all that is bound to be eventful today, so I went ahead and put it on here.  It is 3:05 PM right now.

MARCH 10, 2003
I woke up this morning around 12:00.  My brother was outside cleaning the back yard, so I went out and played with my dogs while he did that.  After a while, his girlfriend came over and then they both left.  I then took a shower, got dressed, and headed to home depot where I would put in my application for employment.  I heard somewhere that they pay pretty well.  It took like an hour, because they had some gay computer you had to apply on and take a stupid test.  That effectively monopolized an hour of my day from about 2:30-3:30.  I had told one of my old high school friends that I would come to their track practice today, because he was helping coach and I wanted to see how the St. Frederick track team looked this year.  I got to see some of my other old friends that I had run with.  When I got there, this girl Mallory was crying really hard and told me that her boyfriend had broken up with her.  She told me that he was 23 years old, and I found that kind of strange since she is just a sophomore in high school.  I hugged her, and then later she told me that her step brother had run faster than me, and I was like, "oh."  So she stormed off in a pissy fit asking why everyone was being so mean to her.  I guess that is what it is like to be bipolar.  They hug you one minute and then cuss you out the next.  But I also got to see Jacob, who went to the state with me last year in pole vaulting.I miss running in high school so much.  I would do almost anything to run with them again.  In high school track meets, I was popular.  Everyone would stop what they were doing to watch the races that I ran.  I guess it was just entertaining to watch a red-headed white boy beat a bunch of black guys in a sprint.  In college however, I'm not so sure of how I am going to do.  My first meet is March 19 and I am really nervous about it.  I don't want to lose really bad like I did my junior year at the state track meet.  I can usually keep up with the black guys on the team, but a lot of times they are a step or two ahead of me when crossing the finish line.  I like to say that it is because they are older and more in their prime, but I can't be so sure about that.  Over the quarter break this past week, I went to see my old track coach to see if I was still running as well as I used to and he said I was after he watched me run a couple of 100s.  This meet at Tech will probably also decide whether I run at many more meets or not.  Um.....anyway, after I left St. Freds around 4:00, I went back home to pack my stuff to head back to Tech.  When I got here, I unloaded my stuff and worked on my website a little more.  I got some pictures up finally.  It takes a long time to crop them and put them up.  Around 7 or 8, I went to get Taco Bell, and came back and watched about half of Shawshank Redemption.  After half of that, Amanda called me and invited me to hang out with her and some other friends.  So I did.  We wound up watching The Ring at Jenny's house.  Around 12:30; Justion, Heath, Tim and I went to get some food from Wendy's.  When we got there at 12:45, the menu light went out right as we pulled up.  About a minute later, someone asked us what we wanted.  The frosty machine was broken and they "were out of chicken nuggets."  That was half of our order right there.  So Justin asked what they DID have and she said Burgers and fries.  We got the stuff and went back to Jenny's and watched....some movie, I forgot the name, but it was really funny and everybody was falling asleep because it was 2:30 in the morning.  After it was over, we left.  So here I am at 3:50 in the morning.....typing on the computer.  I'm a nerd.

MARCH 11, 2003
Last night, I didn't shut the blinds in the window to my dorm room.  This morning, I woke up at 7 and couldn't go back to sleep because of all the sun coming in the window.  For some reason, I didn't want to get up.  It was really hot.  I got up around 11, took a shower and headed home.  I ate lunch with my brother and mom, and then my mom and I went to my allergy appointment.  I didn't think it was going to take that long, but I ended up staying in the little room with no windows for about 2-3 hours.  It was a horrible waste of such a beautiful day.  It also turns out that i am allergic to cats.  I have three house cats.  There is little chance that we will be getting rid of them, but we will just have to keep them out of my room, and I will start taking some medicine for my nasal congestion.  Anyway, I came back home afterwards, picked up some clothes and my tux for the forml friday, and headed back to ruston.  I got back here around 5:15.  I watched a little more of the Shawshank Redemption movie that I have been working on.  Then I went to eat at Monjuni's with 7 other friends.  After we ate, we went back to Dudley (girl's dorm) and after much arguing decided to watch First Knight.  I had never really watched it before, but it was good.  Then I got a ride home at 12:20 AM and got on my computer and finished my movie finally and helped Amanda decide what places we could eat at before the formal.  I was about to go to bed, but I decided to write some in this journal.  So it's not as long as my others ones.

MARCH 12, 2003
Today was my first day of classes for this quarter.  My calculus class was pretty good.  I feel like Al-Agha teaches better than Marion did.  I need someone who grades homework; otherwise I would not do it.  I then went to my sociology class.  It was very nice to see so many girls in my class since there are not many in my other engineering classes.  And even though I do not consider myself a racist, I couldn't help but notice that most of the black people in the class were all sitting in the back corner.  Only two or three were sitting elsewhere.  I just thought that was kinda funny.  I sat next to Justin and Emily.  Emily was having a lot of stupid moments, so she kept me entertained throughout the class.  Some examples are:  She brought her political science book to class and was sure it was the right one;  she didn't know where her glasses were so she didn't wear them today, but by the end of the class she found them in her book bag.  After that, I went back to my dorm and laid down for a nap.  I hardly ever get calls, but three people called me in the hour that I had set for my nap.  One of them was my track coach, Coach Jackson.  He informed me that I would be taking a drug test tomorrow morning at 6:15 AM.....6:15 AM.  Yes, I agree it is pretty rediculous.  Anyway, I went to chapel at the BCM and then came and ate a huge sandwich for lunch afterwards.  I then went to my English class that I have with Kristen O'Neal at 2 and we got to know some people for an hour and fifty minutes.  After that, I went back to my dorm, changed into my track stuff and went to track practice where after a little bit of warming up, my sandwich that I had for lunch made a reappearance.  I did a 300 and a 200 and then a couple of hills, then I went to lift weights.  After that I came back to my dorm, and rested, took a shower and then went to an FCA meeting that I almost feel asleep in.  Then I came back here and got on my computer and started working some more on my webpage.
