They were all sitting on the same table, waiting for their art teacher to arrive. Rosie and Poppy looked at Hannah and Dan then smiled at each-other they both knew that Hannah and Dan had fancied each-other for ages but they never admited the truth to each-other.
A huge smile spread over Rosie's face as she saw Jamie enter the room and started walking over to their table.
"Poppy Poppy look! Its Jamie hes gonna sit with us! Rosie whisper'd exitedly. Poppy looked over at Jamie and rolled her eyes.
"Do i look alright?" whispered Rosie combing her hair with her fingers.
"You look fine" Poppy said smiling "Just be yourself"
"Hi guys" Jamie said smileing "Wow Poppy cool hair"
"thanks" she replyed as natural as anything.
"And you look nice today Rosie" said Jamie as he sat down next to her
"thanks" squeaked Rosie blushing a lobster red.
"So are you guys going to the halloween party tonight?" asked Jamie getting his books out of his bag. They all repied with a 'yeah'
"So i guess all of you have dates then?" said Jamie looking over at Rosie.
None of them said anything and Dan and Hannah caught eachothers eyes again then looked away.
"No we dont" said Poppy drawing a witch next to Hannah's pumpkin on her art book.
"Oh me neither" said Jamie then he tapped Rosie's hand who was looking the drawings on Hannahs book.
"um.. Rosie, since you dont have anyone to go with, then do you wanna like...
go together?" Poppy smiled at Rosie thinking that she would leap out of her chair screaming with exitement. But instead Rosie's face beamed and she looked up at Jamie, smiled and said "sure"
"cool" Jamie said leaning back in his chair.
"And I think Dan and Hannah should go together, right guys?" Jamie said glancing over at Dan and Hannah.
"ok" said Dan who was pulling his red beany over his face - just out of bordem.
He looked over at Hannah who was shading her drawings.
"Do you want to Hannah?" said Dan looking at Hannah through his red cotton beany.
"Ok but you have to promise me not to wear that hat!" Hannah said joking-le
Dan smiled beneath his Hat.
"I dont think Mr.Brimmy's coming" Poppy said looking up at the clock seeing that half of there lesson had past by.
"Thats strange, hes never late" Rosie said.
"I know lets make some halloween decorations" Hannah said leaping out of her chair to go grab some paper and paints.
"We'll have to set you up with someone Poppy" Jamie said glancing over at Poppy who was staring into space.
"Na I can make friends with mr or mrs ghosty we arrise!" Poppy said mixing up some paints.
"What?" said Jamie
"Oh yeah, tonight were useing a Ouija board to contact some spirits, dont worry Synth has done it like a millian times, she said its done f*ck-all most of the time.
Another half an hour had passed and the 5 of them stuck up their halloween decorations on the art room walls while everyone-els just chatted and messed around. For the rest of the day the 5 of them hung around with each-over and making Plans for the party.
