There's something on this page!!!

THE BEGINNING.

I feel the comfort of the afternoon breeze.

Just like in the beginning.

This old typewriter is all I could find to document my discovery, but I fear it may not be long before I must take my leave. They are coming to kill me, and although we always won in the old days, we do not chance to fare so well now a days.

So to start this story, I must tell you what happened before the Zoids Dark Era. Of a man named Van Flyhight, the man who held the peace, the leader of the legendary Guardian Force. He was the greatest pilot that ever lived ...

... in the Chaotic Century.

He commanded a blue Blade Liger, and along with his organoid, Zeke, he maintained the thin line of peace. But nothing lasts forever.

With the rising again of the Empire slowly becoming reality, Vans job was getting a lot harder. Until the day that began an era of darkness. The day that the fifth organoid was born.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

On a cliff in the middle of nowhere, a boy about the age of twelve was running his hands through his hair. He was never a one for mingling, and his father knew that. He knew what the reason was that Swee wasnt staying back in the town for the fair, because even if he wanted to party, he had no friends whatsoever. But that didnt bother him. He liked it better out here anyway. Where he could roam the wide-open desert as much as he felt like. His father was never a real family person, and was more interested in his work. But he did love his wife, and his kid too, and occasionally he brought Swee in to work with him, but only on the safe missions. Yes, as you have probably guessed by now, Swees father was Van Flyhight. But a lot of things were going to change, and very soon.

Swee started to walk down the hill slowly, dragging his feet behind him, because he was still thinking about what he had done. He felt half guilty, half excited. You cant feel all bad about stealing a zoid from your dads workshop. Can you? I mean, if you had enough guts to do it in the first place than you arent going to feel that guilty ...

OK, so maybe you will.

But this was the boy without fear. He felt no grief when his Mother died in the avalanche, and no fear at all in the accident he had last year. So when he jumped into the cockpit of his fathers Konig Wolf he had moved on from mixed emotions to a spontaneous spasm of adrenalin. He felt a sudden urge to go onwards, and to see what would await him.

In a split second the Konig Wolf his father nicknamed Tempus had accelerated to 160kph and rising rapidly. If Swees Dad knew that he was using Tempus, he would be grounded for the next three years. See, even Van only used Tempus when he really needed to. The two words inscribed on the side of this particular Konig Wolf when Van found it at the ruins of the temple of Mars, the roman god of war, were the two words every future pilot of Tempus needed to know. Tempus Fugit. Which is a very ancient way of saying, Time Flies. Tempus was installed with custom boosters that fitted directly on top of the dual sniper rifle, increasing its max speed from 290kph to 340kph. The four leg boosters added 10kph each to put it at a grand total of 380kph max speed.

Yep, Tempus Fugit!

Even the great Van Flyhight had trouble piloting Tempus. High-speed zoids like this are always very hard to maintain. Swee learnt that when he was very little, and knowing how fast Tempus was, became the reason he took that particular Konig Wolf instead of any other zoid. If he was going to go away and be back in time for his birthday ceremony he needed a fast zoid to get him there. So he put his faith in Tempus. Reaching its max speed within seconds it ploughed forward with Swee holding on to the air for dear life in its cockpit. But he wasnt scared. Just happy. His first zoid ride in the fastest land zoid he knew of was really turning out good. Tumbling forward through the savannah, dodging rocks and obstacles, Swee was certainly being tested on his strength of mind and his skill as a pilot. And so far, he was doing alright. It was pushing him to his limits, so he had to stop. Slowing down until he reached a halt, Swee jumped out of Tempus and walked around a bit. To his right he saw a large cave, which would provide him with shade and a nice resting spot. There was an inscription on the wall outside.

????

Swee stared blankly. His inquisitiveness was too great for him to restrain from going in. He may have found something like his father did. Something like Zeek. Or Fiona.

Entering the large cavern he saw that all the walls were coated with words from the same language as the previous inscription, and by the way they were written, Swee got the impression they were rushed and put on in a hurried manner. His journey was a short one; as soon as he got in he reached a dead end. All that stood in front of him was a wall and a kind of a dial. Moulded to suit a human hand, it was made of stone and had marble stripes through it. Swee placed his hand in and turned it. Or at least, attempted to. Try as he might he couldnt seem to turn it. When he realised he couldnt budge it, he got very annoyed. Swee hated limitations. Whether theyre physical, mental, whatever, there was nothing he hated more.

So he blew up the wall.

Carefully aiming Tempuss Dual Sniper Rifle, Swee shot a perfect hole in the wall, just big enough for him to fit through. He was careful not to hit anything else but the wall, as he may cause the whole cave to collapse. Hopping out of Tempus he climbed through the hole and into the room awaiting. It was beautiful! Much more glamorous than the rest of the cave, it was decorated with gold paint and pretty patterns. In the middle was a pedestal, holding a sculpture of the Sun made from stone. One side a shining and magnificent white, the other, a dark and gloomy black. In the middle, a line of metallic grey. Feeling urged to touch it, he reached out and grabbed it. Instantaneously, he felt a rush of blood and the room began to move. It began to spin, slowly at first, and the pedestal sank into the ground, so that the sculpture was in the ground. The floor circled inwards and crushed the stone Sun like a pebble. The room stopped moving. Swee reached down and separated the pieces of rubble left from the sculpture to find a miniature version, big enough to be a pendant.

The second he touched it he felt his insides change. He was different. He placed the talisman in his pocket and began to walk out of the door. His head hurt. He got dizzy, and fell to the floor. Picking himself up he struggled through the hole. For some strange reason, he could now read all of the text on the walls, as if it was in his own language.
Its him
We know his name
Hes the one
The time is coming
These were some of the things it said. He limped past the dial, and did a double take. He decided to give it one more try. Now that there was already a hole in the wall he wondered what it would do. He placed his hand in once again and with little effort turned the dial completely clockwise. Expecting the wall to crumble or something he was quite surprised when the cave started collapsing. Well surprised is a very alert kind of word. In Swees current position a simple phrase sufficed.

Oh... Crap.

Dragging himself out of the falling cave and into the cockpit of Tempus he needed to get out, and fast. All he could remember thinking was that he needed to get this done. Next thing he knew, he felt a transformation beginning. His spine was moving, his chest cracking. He was having spasms, screaming and bursting his mind. And then came the real pain.

Then came the wings.

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!

Another organoid was born.
