| WE BELIEVE there is one God, eternally manifested in the persons of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. WE BELIEVE in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, His sinless life, His miracles, His atoning death, His bodily resurrection, His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His personal return in glory upon earth. WE BELIEVE that for salvation of lost and sinful man, repentance toward God, faith in Jesus Christ, and regeneration by the Holy Spirit are absolutely essential. WE BELIEVE that the believer is called to sanctification through identification with Jesus in His death and resurrection. WE BELIEVE in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling, empowering, and gifts the Christian is enabled to live a life of godliness and effective service. WE BELIEVE in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost: those who are saved unto the resurrection of life and those who are lost unto the resurrection of damnation. WE BELIEVE the Bible to be the inspired and infallible authoritative word of God. WE BELIEVE that all Christians should be committed to the fufilling of the Great Commisssion as set forth in Matthew 28: 18-20. WE BELIEVE that all Christians are called to DO the gospel as well as preach it . . . through works of mercy and the gift of helping others. (Matthew 25:31-46) |
