On october 19th we had the second anuall Homeless barbecue at the New Hope Church. We also met with Ken and Nicky and also the chief of Police. We discussed the Homeless situation in Stanislaus County. We also made a date to meet in the basement of the Modesto library to discuss going to the housing authority and the city council, the first tuesday after the 22nd of november. We want to talk about what we can do to help the Homeless problem. Today, the 4th of november, I met with chris, aaron, and josh, from homeless coalition and new hope church. We ate at a mexican restaurant and it was great. We talked about so many things. We laughed and frowned. We went to Wallmart for socks and underwear. AS they drove me to the library, we talked alot more. We laughed, we frowned, We departed friends. My little brother doesn't seem to be doing very well. He seems very sad inside. I wish I could help him, but he has to figure it out for himlelf. If he truly comes to God and surrenders, his life will dramaticly change. No matter how much my life might seem to be going all wrong. No matter how much suffering and pain I go through. It will always be better with God in my life. The lord doesn't promise us total happiness in this physical life, but he does promise us eternal life in Heaven, reigning with him in glory and honor. Forever and ever. By the way, I now live in an apartment on the First Baptist Church property. I prayed for gods will in this matter and I waited. Then he opened the door. Selah |
