| My name is James Flaherty. I have lived in Modesto, Ca. for many years. I've also lived in Texas, Arkansas, and Miami, Oklahoma for two years, just recently. I've experienced many things in my life so far, including being homeless.This is something I am not particularly proud of, but I am not at all ashamed. These homeless experiences have been the best experiences. I've learned so much over the years. If you've never been homeless, then you probably don't know what I am talking about. Consider the grapes of wrath. Think about Jesus and how he lived. Have you ever been poor. If you haven't, then thats too bad. It could be a good thing for all of us at one time or another. What if you were watching someone die on the street and there were no one to help them. Would you care enough to help. Forget the money and forget the food. And even forget taking them home with you. Tell me the truth, would you help them. The truth is, there are a lot of people in this world right now that will run you over with their car like a dog in the street. I'm not being rude, I'm just telling you the truth. I'v seen it happen. People are dieing on the streets every day. I think they need someone to recognize their situation, and respond in a Godly manor. Please don't give me any of your excuses, I'v already heard them. |
