| This is the cross that has been displayed in Modesto for many years. It is a beacon for anyone who needs help with food, shelter, clothes, a shower, and the living word that will ultimately set you free. This cross was hung on the first shelter in Modesto many years ago and is still serving its purpose. Jesus says, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No man comes to the Father except through me. There is no other way for man to be saved, but through Jesus Christ. This is why the Mission is so successful. The Mission is doing what God wants it to do. There is a hedge of protection and the blood of Jesus covering this place. For the staff, volunteers, and everyone else that walks into the building. This place is sanctified. A willing soul will make a sacrifice for another soul's salvation. Without Gods word and without worship, a homeless shelter will not be succesful in meeting the ultimate goal. They can only put a bandaid on the problem. There is water that you can drink and later be thirsty again. But this water I give to you freely, and you will never thirst again. God is the real answer to any problem you will ever have to face. | ||
