The IAASnet is an online forum created in 1996. Its mission is to provide a forum for its members, who are (or once were) associated with the Institute of Agriculture and Animal Sciences (IAAS) in Nepal as a faculty, staff, or student. We, as members, want to rise above petty partisan and personal grudges to celebrate what the most of us achieved at IAAS; whatever it means to an individual, you name it.

In this forum, we always welcome the news, special announcements, and articles related to IAAS and its members. We also encourage conference/seminar announcements, calls for papers, request of proposals, notice of scholarship and fellowship, and other topics of common interest. Most importantly, as a virtual community, our members are the ones who have kept this forum well and alive for all these years by posting their opinions on the issues relevant to this forum's mission and we hope that more new cohorts will join us in the same spirit.

Please strictly observe the rules of the forum when you are posting on the IAASnet. We respect your freedom to express the views and opinions on the issues of common insterests; however, it is always a good idea to exercise a common sense. The list managers do hold the rights to moderate certain threads/postings that do not serve the purpose of this forum.
