Hypnosis  *  Psychotherapy

"Rocky" with Sylvester Stallone: Its About
Determination. Hypnosis at work!

The gutsy boxer from Philly has never been more determined!

This all comes about when Sylvester
Stallone goes to seek professional help. This well
known actor came along to my colleague Gil
Boyne, founder of the "American Council of
Hypnotist Examiners."  Stallone explained that
he wanted hypnotic treatment to increase his
self-confidence.  He had always done very well,
and nobody had noticed anything wrong, but he
constantly had a fear of possible failure, which
caused him considerable anxiety.
Certain situations and particular scenes
affected him more than others, and inquiry
revealed the fact that they remind him of
certain incidents which had upset him in child-
hood.  For instance, he had made a fool of him-
self on one occasion, and other children had
laughed at him.  Ever since, he had been
secretly afraid of making a mistake.
A few sessions of hypnosis were sufficient
to restore completely his self-confidence and
remove all feeling of fear.  As a result the
patient did better than ever and played the
leading part in several important films.
In another case, Sylvester Stallone had
been battling to break into Hollywood as an
actor for ten years, then suddenly  "Out of the
Blue,"  "Rocky" was born.  Not only did he get
an Oscar for the best actor, but he also wrote
the screen play for the film, and won the Oscar
for the best picture of the year--- Was this due
to his hypnotherapist?
Behind all big success stories there are
usually some fascinating reasons that bring
everything together, whether it's timing or fate.
In this case it could have been both, but there is
one intriguing factor that certainly played a
large part in the success of this megastar, a clue
was in the official  "Rocky scrapbook that
Stallone wrote:"  "I arrived in Philadelphia for
the location shoot and was scared to death.  But
every day I stretched out and played the sub-
conscious motivation recording made for me in
Los Angeles."

The man responsible for these tapes was Gil
Boyne, known as the "Hypnotist for the Star,"
because he lives literally on the doorsteps of the
Stars.  He has helped many famous names, including
Dolly Parton and Lilly Tomlin. A genius in his
profession, Gil has trained many of the best practicing hypnotherapist throughout the world.
Gil recalls, "Stallone who came to see him on
the recommendation of other actors that were helped
through hypnotherapy.  Stallone told Gil that his
career seemed to be stalled and as they talked, Gil
discovered that Stallone had a wonderful story to be
written about the many great fighters who started
their careers in old Philadelphia fighters clubs and
believe that he can write that story.  Maybe that's
what he meant to do.  Then Gil explained how hypnosis could help him to express his creativity and develop the confidence to do it." The seed was sown and Stallone had written the script of "Rocky."
Hypnotherapy didn't  make a sly scriptwriter or
a better actor, but hypnotherapy stimulated his
tremendous drive and aggressiveness when it was
sagging.  Negative energy can cause doubts about ones abilities, and subconscious ideas acquired in childhood are often the cause.  When one is told: "You are so lazy!"  "You will never amount to anything!"  It can become a fixed idea and constantly inhibit creative behaviors.  Hypnotherapy teaches and help one to transform this energy into positive channels. You can get hypnotherapy to help you program the mind with new ideas that will overcome the misunderstanding created by false ideas.
