A week or so ago when Neopets announced that NeoQuest could be played all the time I was able to play it for the first time. I read the instructions, was suitably confused and started to play. I choose the fire wand because fire sounded strong and spent my skill points one for the lowest of each skill area and the two left over were given to healing abilities. And then I could roam around the map, I noted that I could choose my movement type: sneaking, normal or hunting. I left it at normal as that well, made sense. Starting in Neopia City I was able to talk to someone who could make me something? They told me about the Ring of Xantan that seemed to be necessary for the forgery of every single weapon. Not hard to get, all I had to do was fight a wizard I headed west, away from Neopia City and soon came across a Fire Imp, level one same as me. I beat the Fire Imp without too much damage to myself and pressed on. I soon found myself dead because I ran into a Black Bearog. After a while I built my level up to around five by getting lost in the Dank Cave for about half an hour. Eventually finding my way out I went back to Neopia City and headed east and found myself in the Training Ground. It was full of Ice and Fire Imps which I found quite quickly as I had swapped to Hunting mode. For a level five White Lupe beating level one and two Ice and Fire Imps was a breeze and I quickly realised that I should have come this way to start with That was boring so returned to Neopia City and ventured south along the Grarrl Penisular and eventually into a jungle. Continuing east I found a ruins that I could explore. I kind of got killed here too so starting from Neopia City again I went back to the Hills of Jub and continued on west until I came to the Spooky Forest. That was good, I had some competition, the creatures here were around levels six to eight but then I ran into a Poogle Vampire. I can tell you now it wasnt pretty. Even though we were both level ten I was soundly beaten. So there you have it. Thats my current experience of NeoQuest. So far I like it and just recently it was made that when you gain a level you get np, which makes playing NeoQuest even more worthwhile. Things to remember when youve just started playing and an order I recommend doing them in. From Neopia City: Have fun playing NeoQuest! But Im not quite sure what the quest is yet |
