Everyone is going absolutely wild over the new world, Meridell. Meridell is located just north of Faerieland and is home to many new and wonderful games. This new and exciting world contains the games Cheese Roller, Illusen's Glade, Ultimate Bullseye, Potato Counter, Shape Shifter, Kiss the Mortog and Guess the Weight. Just recently, a new game has been added to Meridell called Pick Your Own. There are only two businesses on Meridell right now, Ye Olde Petpets and Merifoods. The game, Cheese Roller, is a game of luck and chance. You buy one of the following cheeses from the vender and then maneuver your way down the hill. don't forget, you are also racing the clock. If you get to the finish line in 60 seconds or less, you can keep the cheese. The cheese you can buy are: The quest game, Illusen's Glade, is quite similar to Jhudoras Cloud quests. I don't really waste my time or neopoints on this game so i got some of the guild members' opinions on it: The game, Ultimate Bullseye, is very hard for me so I gave up on it. Many of the members of HYN haven't even heard of the game, so there isn't really much to say about it. If you are good at it then that is great, if not then just don't waste your time. Potato Counter is probably the easiest game in all of Neopia. All you do is count the potatoes as fast as you can and you get 100 neopoints! That's 300 neopoints daily just for counting. I suggest everyone play this game every day. Shape Shifter is a puzzle and quite difficult in my opinion. I have only been able to get to about the fourth level. The object of the game is to get the entire puzzle to be nothing but swords. I'm beginning to wonder if it is even possible. :) Kiss the Mortog is too frustrating for me, but here's what the members had to say: Guess the Weight is another luck and chance game. You pay the Wocky about 200 neopoints and guess how much his marrow weighs. I have lost every time I've tried. Has anyone won? Lets ask the members: Pick Your Own is a pretty easy game and it is a pretty easy way to make a profit. You pay 200 neopoints to go around a farm and pick up berries. Sometimes you can find really rare berries, but other times you may find a pile of dung or an old boot! I really like this game and I have made a profit from it. The only bad thing is ou can't eat the berries, only sell them. The only food shop on Meridell is Merifoods. The only items I have seen sold there are: a cup of water, gruel, and corn on the cob. Personally, my pets are spoiled so i don't think they would like meridell too much. They need to get more food and better food if they want to attract the young neopets to their world. Ye Olde Petpets of course sells petpets. I have not yet been able to get my hands on one. I haven't even seen one in the shop. Is thie some sort of trick that they are playing on just me or is it happening to others? That about wraps it up for my article on Meridell. I think it is a great world with some great new games, but I also think it needs some more work. Everyone, please, take my advice and stay away from the games that are too hard or aren't worth the time and take adbantage of those that you are good at and that reward well.
