Games Galore: A Game Review

By arduously

Neopets released three new games in just a matter of days. They arrived in such a rush, in such a hurry, that some people haven't tried them yet! These three games are Volcano Run, Crazy Food Frenzy, and the Goldfish Snack Game.

Volcano Run has a simple philosophy. You click your left mouse button to stay afloat, and you want to navigate the caves without bumping into stuff. You want to collect the jewels. Sounds simple, right? No, not really. That, or I have an awful knack for running into stuff. ;D You earn one fourth of your score, so don't send too soon! My average score was about 400, and I was able to win 300 NP from this game in a fairly short time.

Crazy Food Frenzy was a respectable game with a very fun object. You click on the foods to throw at the bully, but he can throw stuff back at you. I thought it was amusing, and it didn't take a lot of hard work. You could usually work up a good score, but this game takes a while. Your opponent gets dirty when your combination is worth MORE points than his, and you get dirty when his combo is worth more than yours. The game is over when you get messy. (HINT: ALWAYS THROW THE BIG SAUSAGES! -wink-) The amount of NP you make is MORE your score.

I really liked Goldfish Snack Game. You use the left and right buttons on your keyboard to move the hand around, and you bump the fish so they stand onto the checkered table. Only five are allowed to fall off before you're done for, so try to keep them all on! The amount you score is the number of NP you get out of it, and the game is quick, so it's a highly effective way to earn NP. As I said, I really liked this one!
