| Katak was born in marineland onterio on 6-15-89. There he lived with his mother Nootka5 and his father Kandu. He also lived with his sisters Neocia and the now dead Malik or E-day, who died in 2000, and his brother Algonquin, half brothers Hudson and Nova. when he was 2 1/2 years old he was sold to Sea World San Diego, there his name was changed to Splash. there Corky adopted him as her own. At the age of 5 he ripped his chin on one of the gate hinges. he has many scars and teeth rakes from the other orcas. Most likely from play. splash is a sweet orca who is gental with his trainers. now he is sexullymature but is not physically mature, it will take a while before he is fully mature. he currently weighs 4,700 lbs. splash is one of the least dominate orcas. he is on medication also he seems to have epileptic seizures, most likely through his genetic make up. his full blooded sister malik also had immune deficiancy problems and was on medication through out her short life. In the shows he appears mostly with his mintor Ulysses or Takara. |
