vCustomer Corporation is a US based renowned international BPO Company providing technical and customer support services to international clients. It has offices located in US, India and Philippines.

As an Engineer, my responsibilities include configuring and maintaining their 24*7 running network setup in India (Delhi and Pune) and US (NY, Westin and Kirkland) remotely. It involves configuring and troubleshooting a wide variety of switches, routers, firewalls, IPLC etc.

Job Profile:-

My present work includes implementing, maintaining and troubleshooting LAN & WAN connectivity at the core Delhi site and collocations in Pune, New-York and Seattle while working on a platform based on 3550, 4506, 6506 and 6509 Switches,7206 Routers, PIX 506 and Netscreen Firewalls and various NMS. Being in a BPO, the priority always remains for Voice Traffic and all work is intended to make the best possible use of available bandwidth and utilization of all the WAN links effectively.

Recently working on projects which involve migration of all the access level switches from L2 to L3 to avoid and STP loops in the network, placement and configuration of an additional router at New-York end and changing the routing policies on our network devices according to the clients’ requirements.
