Special effects and lighting techniques
Transparency & Overlaying :

Images made by this technique are actually two separate images combined .
For transparency to be effective , the two pictures must be in the same tone and contrast each other well .

Camera angles and extras :

The angle of the directing camera is very important . The positions in which the character is displayed gives them a personality and direction . The focus point of the camera is always on one character , even if there are others characters in the background [known as ' extras' ] .

3D lighting for backdrops
Warping and colours [ differencing ]
Adding lighting of different colour , especially violet , adds a cool effect to pyramids and dark scenes .
Changing the colours and overlaying uncontrasting colours produces some cool effects !
