About TOWN

TOWN has a rich history. When Wen Wu first came to the United States in the 1860's, he brought with him his family noodle recipes. He had high hopes of someday starting a Chinese restaurant.

While working on the railroad is San Francisco, he met his future wife Sally Smith. Sally was the cook for the railroad and she cooked beans every day. Their love affair began in the kitchen, when she allowed Wen Wu to make noodles.

It wasn't until a railroad supervisor discovered what was happening that Wen Wu's fame began to rise. Wen Wu and Sally Smith created amazing dishes that were served to the railroad workers.

Upon tasting Wen's noodles, a rich billionaire named Herman TOWN, offered to invest in Wen Wu's restaurant and the rest, of course, is history...
