Beltane - Held at Peebles Island. We had some trouble with the park officials because we were digging up land that is considered historical and therefore is protected (whoops - we didn't know). With the help of Sam, we bolstered the pole with logs and bungee cords. It held pretty well. Crowned this year were Dave and Linda. See pictures here.

HVPN U - At the 2nd Annual HVPN University, we had a new location - Russell Sage College! Very well attended this year, with lots of vendors and information tables. We also held our raffle for the quilt the HVPN Crafters created. Here is the schedule. Here are some pictures.

Midsummer - Was it hot! Held at Allan and Randy's, we took advantage of the heat and had squirt gun shootouts and waterballoon fights. Food and music all day. The stone circle was visited by the fairies at our evening ritual, flitting and floating, teasing and taunting. A fire circle and campout followed. A few of us stayed up the whole night - I think we are getting too old for this! See some pictures here.

Witch's Ball - This year's theme was "Once Upon A Time". There were so many lovely costumes. For what is about the 50th time or so Randy one the top prize. His costume this year was Captain Hook. There was also a Snow White, King Arthur and Queen Guinevere, the Headless Horseman, a Frog Prince, and a little Red Riding Hood that was being tailed all by night by at least a few Big Bad Wolves. This was the first year we had the event at the Capitol District OTB Teletheater. It worked out well and the staff was very accomodating. See pictures here.

Yule - We held our annual Yule Feast & Bardic Circle at the Cohoes Ukranian Club. The feast was incredible, and was followed by the bardic circle and the annual tradition of Pagan Caroling.
