We are looking for day time personel. You must want to help our community, must have a good driving record and be in good health.
Experience is preferred, but not required. We will train the right individuals who meet the requirements. We are an all volunteer fire department. We cover about 64 square miles outside the Portland city limits. We have approximately 10,000 residents, 3 schools and 3 nursing homes that we are zoned for. We respond to to structure fires, motor vehicle accidents, brush fires and other types of rescue. We also have a First Responder program in place where we back up Sumner County EMS. Due to the increase in call volume during the day, we are seeking day help.
