CURRENT GLOBAL VISIBILITY

This image is from Nightskylive.net. The stars indicate the locations of CONtinuous CAMeras (CONCAMs) currently working in the Night Sky Live Project. The latest live pictures above that observatory can be viewed at Nightskylive.net. The map of the world has been provided by the Earth and Moon Viewer website maintained by John Walker. The dark portions of the map indicate regions of night while the light portions indicate regions of day. Superposed on this map is a world weather map showing the location of clouds. Cloud information is provided by the University of Wisconsin-Madison. The weather information is updated every three hours. The general world map is updated every 5 minutes.
