President  - 
T
he President is responsible for conducting and coordinating meetings and guides other officers, offering encouragement, support and appreciation.  The president is in touch with other officers and is aware of concerns.  He/she may write an article for the newsletter, the President's Corner.  Try to contact other Area Singles groups. Passes on the Presidents bag/books to Vice President.  Informs the Vice President when he/she can't attend.  Sets up suppers/places and confirms reservations 1 week in advance.

Vice President -
The Vice President is responsible for the president's duties in the absence of the president.  After serving as the Vice President, he/she will move up to serve as president for a year.   Keeps the Photo albums.  At top of Phone Tree.  Passes on information to new Vice President.

Secretary -
The secretary is responsible for taking notes at the Executive Board meetings and reads the minutes from the previous meeting.  He/she provides the notebook for attendance of suppers which includes birthdays and mailing addresses and nametags.  Writes all thank you notes for guest speakers, etc.  Passes on notebooks to new Secretary.  Keeps all attendance records for future references.

Treasurer - Marvin N email at [email protected]
The treasurer is responsible for any monies coming to Huron Area Singles and the payment of bills.  He/she receives and dispurses monies as needed at events and provides oral reports to the Executive Board, with a written report at the December meeting.  Pays guest speaker(s) for their meal or no more than $25.00.  Passes on moneybag to new treasurer.

Program Coordinator -
The Program Coordinator is responsible for scheduling and arranging events for single adults and their children, entertainment or a program or a mixer game and decorations for events such as the Valentine's Banquet.  He/she solicits volunteers to be present and in charge of each event.  He/she plans for birthday recognition, arranges for personal growth through speakers, videos, and discussion groups and provides someone to lead in devotions or prayer at dinners like the Christmas dinner and the Thanksgiving meal.  He/she does the advertising for events in the paper and makes contacts.

Newsletter Editor - Vanessa G put in Subject bar HAS at [email protected]
The Newsletter Editor prepares written details of upcoming events and submits the  6 newsletters to the church secretary for publishing and distribution. 

Dance Coordinator - Kathy P email at [email protected]
The Dance Coordinator lines up music of bands or DJ's for the monthly dances and works closely with the New Plains management.  He/she decorates, shares dates of the dances with the Executive Board and handles the advertising in papers/radio/community calendar etc and distribution of flyers/posters.
