We stayed in Kayenta for two days. Then we took off to Jacob Lake north of the Northern Rim of the Grand Canyon and adjacent to Kabab National Forest. We stayed at a motel/cabin in Jacob Lake and drove into the canyon area early in the mornings to explore as much of the upper rims as possible. Next time, I hope we could raft on the river instead. Climbing, that time was just not to be for either of us, but the views and sights were wonderful never the less.
After we had our fill of the Grand Canyon's North Rim, it was time to head back to Flagstaf and Pheonix after. Wupatki ruins were on the way back towards Flagstaff. So we took advantage of that.
