My Poems...
"Be still, and know that I am God."
                                       Psalm 46:10
I was reading Psalm 46 one night before I went to bed, and as I thought about verse 10, God suddenly started pouring all these verses into my head about who He is. Before I knew it, I had a letter from my Heavenly Father, just telling me to be still and see who He is. It's a combination of many Bible verses, I don't even know the references for some of them, but it's beautiful how God reminds us of His Word, how it's a love letter from Him.
Be Still
Be still, and know that I am God.
Be still, and know that I will provide whatever concerns you today.
Be still, and let me quiet you with my love as I rejoice over you with singing. Rest in my arms, and take shelter between my wings. I am God and you are not, so put your hope and trust in me. For I love you with an everlasting love, and my understanding no one can fathom. Delight in me and I will give you the desires of your heart, for I will reward all those who wait on me. I will give you strength as you remember that my ways are not yout ways, and my thoughts are higher than your thoughts.
I will give you what is yours in my time; but as you wait, I will raise you on eagles wings, you will run and not grow weary, for I will be your strength.
I have redeemed you, you are mine. I have engraved your name on the palms of my Hands. I will never forget you or leave you, because I have compassion on you, and I love you so much. To prove my love, I gave my only Son so you could live.
You are my precious child, the apple of my eye, and I love you. Now rest assured in who I am, I am your Father, and you are my child.
Now, Be still, and know in your heart that I am God.
