Map of the megalithic tomb Drenthe 53 near Havelte (Havelterberg, the more western of the two), municipality of De Wolden, cadastral section Havelte I 609. Owner: State of the Netherlands, acquired from the Markgenoten van Havelte on 27th and 28th of April 1871; 64 stones, deviation 107�, condition July 2001. The tomb was completely taken to pieces in World War II according to orders from the Germans, to make a false airstrip possible. After the war it was totally rebuilt at the original place. |
