I took this picture on Friday morning. This is part of the pavilion beside the Ruth church that the meetings were held under. I don't have a wide-angle lens, so I couldn't get the whole thing in the shot. My only problem with the arrangements was that those chairs got really hard after a while....at least I had a chair though. On Friday night more people showed up than for the other nights, and a lot were left standing or sitting on the ground.
The song service on Friday night was fairly long. There were two different choirs that sang, one was the choir at Bro. Daisley's church (I didn't get a picture, sigh), and the other is what you see here, from Gastonia, NC, Bro. Tim Humes' church.
Here is another special from Friday night, the Cockman Family. They always sing good songs, and this time was no exception.
The service on Friday night was very good, and we were really enjoying ourselves. It was good to  be  around fellow believers, but unfortunately it had to end (our hotel room was booked ahead by someone else for Friday night). We talked to a few people, said our farewells, and around 11:30p.m. we headed back home. On the way home I was pretty down over having to return to normal life. I really loved being in the atmosphere that was created in the meetings, it seemed to be a slight foretaste of the fellowship we'll have 'over yonder'.
We hadn't eaten supper on Friday, so at about 1:30a.m. We swung in to the MacDonald's on the Biltmore Estates exit. I was barely conscious, but the  promise of a quarter- pounder w/ cheese woke me up. And how do you visit a fast-food joint like that without taking a picture? That was the snootiest burger I ever ate.
Fee, fie, fo, fum, I smell another trip to Ruth, NC for Missionary Camp Meetings next year, coming up........
