HULTGREN FARMS OPERATIONS
Hultgren Farms is a growing, progressive farm located near Willmar, Minnesota. Our farm produces high-quality corn, soybeans, navy beans, kidney beans, sugar beets, wheat, and alfalfa. A small 50-head stock cow herd is also maintained on the Colfax ranch property.

Our sugar beets are marketed though Southern Minnesota Beet Sugar Cooperative in Renville. Our soybeans are sold as premium seed beans to Remington Seed in Olivia. Our corn is stored on-site, at Farm Service Elevator in Willmar, and at the Prinsburg-Raymond-Clara City Farmers Co-op Elevators in Raymond and Clara City. Our alfalfa is sold to dairy and horse owners, fed to our livestock, or shipped to MnVAP in Priam. Our kidney beans are hauled to Chippewa Valley Bean in Menomonie, WI. Our navy beans are delivered to Bird Island Bean Company (BIBC) in Bird Island. Hultgren Farms has owned a 52% share of this company since its inception in April, 2000. Hultgren Farms also works with Lakeside Foods in Brooten to raise green peas and sweet corn on a contract basis.
