There was a realm, an angelic realm, where angels were created in the heaven, and with those angels and amongst those angels was an angel called Lucifer, and iniquity was found in him. �How art thou fallen from heaven, 0 LucIfer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations!� (IsaIah 14:12) And Satan convinced a third, (one out of three) that he could be like the most High. �For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God:I will sit also. upon the mount of the congregation in the sides of the north:!� (Isaiah 14:13) Satan convinced them that he could ascend and build his throne above God�s throne. �I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High.� (Isaiah 14:14) And as Lucifer caused one third of them to believe his lie, so then war broke out in Heaven. You see, sin did not start on earth it started in Heaven. It did not enter the world first; it entered Heaven first. War broke out in Heaven. And this high treason against God lasted long enough to reach Michael, the archangel�s ears, and when He found out about Lucifer�s high treason against God, that was it The buck stopped there.
)7 �And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against� the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels,
)8 And prevailed not; neither was, there place found any more in heaven.
)9 And the great dragon wr cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceived the whole whole: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him." (Revelation 12:7-9)
