About ISA-UMY,Inc.

  ISA-UMY, Inc. is a Muslim youth civil society organization founded on December 29, 1998 at Jolo, Sulu;
It was first established as MHAARKRAVAA an acronym of 11 persons who founded the ISA-UMY;
It is ITTIHADUSH SHABAB ALMUSLIMIN an Arabic name which means UNITED MUSLIM YOUTH;It was formally registered at Security on Exchange Commission (SEC) on February 28, 2003, Zamboanga City;
A group of Muslim youth who truss themselves by principles and by-laws to dole-out for the welfare of Muslim youth and Ummah as a whole;

Vision, Mission & Goals
 

The ISA-UMY envisions Sulu Muslim youth to be spiritually enlightened, responsible citizens, and equipped with skills to be globally competitive.

            It aims to provide leadership in the area of wholistic youth sector development through capability building activities, social services and religious guidance.
The ISA-UMY aims to develop:

- Spiritually enlightened youth with the highest moral standards

- Fully empowered youth able to participate in social and political affairs of the community

- Productive youth sector able to contribute to the over-all well-being of society.
