Recently the Ministry has been having trouble in Hogsmeade. It seems that someone or something has been taking the locals� possessions without them finding out when and how they did it. By talking to the locals, the Ministry has gathered that the person, who�s stealing, does it by night. This raises two important questions. How do they know it�s does by night? Well, quoting one of the Ministry investigators, �Anything that�s taken happens after the town is asleep. During the day, nothing is touched but at night, many things have been rearranged from their original positions.� Now the second question. How did they conclude that it was a person? A short interview with one of the aurors, I found their theory interesting.
�At first we thought it could either be a massive muggle animal, a magical beast, or a witch or wizard. So we started the elimination process. We quickly ruled out a muggle animal because they cannot enter magical premises. We then eliminated a magical beast because they would surely leave huge paw prints and other signs of a magical beast. So that leaves us with the criminal being a witch or wizard. Investigation is still going on about who it might be. But that is all we can tell you now.�
Interesting right? However, I warn everyone to be on their guard when going into Hogsmeade, night or day. You never know when the criminal might show up again, despite the person�s record. I leave you with one question: Who do you think it is?

This month�s Hufflepuff of the month has brilliant ideas. She does much more than she should to give us house points. We have many adventures together and I am happy to supply you with a short bio of Kelsie Mcgonnagle.

Description: Kelsie is very nice to the students at PADs. She is a genius and always lets other people help her. Kelsie has many friends JOIN THAT GROUP! QUICK!
Interests: Harry Potter, music, karate, the internet and she is very girly and sporty.
Former ideas: Kelsie has a huge noggin and she used it to think up the idea for the Hufflepuff House Play,(which is out into action after the Christmas/New Years feast so be sure to go watch it) and the idea for Hufflepuff Has Talent!

As young witches around the globe scamper around gathering class supplies and new clothing, studies show that the black robes are not the most popular this year. What's up, you ask? It's the Bell Dress! This fashion statement has been particularly seen in the Hufflepuff CR for the upcoming school year. The bell shape of the dress accentuates the girls' curves and shows their shoulders. As the new design for a summer and early fall comfort item, the Board for the Dressing of Young Girls, or B-DYGs, is looking to stock bell dresses in colors to encourage Hogwarts students to dress according to house. There is a national crisis in the United States�all the deer have vanished! The muggles are used to seeing them everywhere and are now wondering where they might be. The Department of Non-Magical Creatures at the Ministry of Magic is on the case. Just like the muggle investigating force, the wizarding community has no clue either. It seems as though, the deer disappeared over night. Not a trace of them has been left and none have been spotted for two weeks now. One thing the Ministry know, however, that the muggles don�t. This was a work of magic. Someone from the wizarding world is causing havoc and will be punished if caught.

Qudditch season is creeping slowly apon us all and Hufflepuffs Brawling Badgers are all gettin prepared for a great season! This years captain for Hufflepuff is EmmaMay and she is doing an absolutely fabulous job organizing the team. But there are many many Hufflepuffs who want to be on the team and with the quizzes that are needed to be filled out and sent in to her, the poor girl is stressed over all of it. Don't worry Emma you'll get through it all eventually!
As for the players this year, if I am correct the roster so far is as follows...and there are more than needed of each position if I looked right:
Chasers: EmmaMay, Kelsie Mcgonnagle, Aliana Rother, Teagan Kincade, Rahul Black, and John Chang
Beaters: EmmaMay, Harmony Hill, and Teagan Kincade
Keepers: Hazel Woods and Teagan Kincade
Seeker: Kelsie Mcgonnagle
So there are alot of returning faces and new faces on the team this year so look out Gryffindor, Slytherin, Ravenclaw, Penshire, and Paddington! Hufflepuff will be on a roll this year cause Pain Never Looked So Good! Brawl On Badgers!!!
