1. What did you think of PAD's hogwarts when you first came?

"It was gigantic. That was my absolute first thought. Not to mention confusing but after some time I got used to the hallways. With some help, I found my way around. In another sense, PAD's felt like home and getting to know the people made it more so. Obviously I didn't know anyone when I first came, but starting with my house, I soon grew fond of everyone I met and quickly made friends."
2. Would you recommend Hufflepuff to others?
"Definately." she said. "It is not at all what people make the house to be. The sudents and HOH are friendly and welcoming. We have a crazy bunch of kids here who know how to have some fun." Harmony smiled knowingly.
3. What is your favorite house besides your own?
Contemplating the question, Harmony answered, "I love Hufflepuff to bits, but my favorite house besides Hufflepuff would have to be Slytherin."
4. If you had three wishes, what would you wish for?
"The first wish would be for a new broomstick. The one I have is getting pretty old. The second wish would be to rid my father and grandmother of all their grief. And lastly I would wish for an endless supply of Cauldron cakes." Harmony grinned wide at her choices. Sure most of them were materilistic but she preferred not to showcase her real wishes.

5. If you could chose your best friend, would it be a boy or a girl?

Almost instantly she replied, "A boy." Thinking she needed more explanation on her answer, Harmony continued, "Don't get me wrong, I get along with both girls and boys, but it just so happens that guys tend to be the better choice. " Pauing, she added one last bit, "Although Hufflepuff is proving that theory wrong."
6. Who was your idol when you were 8 or 9?

"Since I'm a muggleborn, I have had a lot of exposure to muggle ways but there was no less exposure to wizard ways. However, my answer would remain the same even if I was a half-blood or a pureblood. My idol was my father and he still is." Finishing her answer, Harmony smiled at Hazel waiting to see if there was anything else.

The Forbidden Forest Fright
By John Chang

This month two Hufflepuff students got lost in the Forbidden Forest. As I am one of the two I can tell you the story. It was early morning and I, John Chang, was lying on my bed. When I heard howls I got scared and ran out to investigate. As I reached outside and began to get scared I saw a friend coming towards me. As I was just about to say, 'Hello', she pushed me against a tree. Then Kelsie, the friend, let go and followed me into the woods because I, John, had run off. Then as she followed me she put a baby basilisk on our trail. (No offense Kels) Then I led us into the territory of werewolves. Since there seemed to be no way out of this I threw an Invisibility Cloak over her and ran off into the woods to find the Weasley's Ford Angelina. As she got in the car and we took off, a giant creature began jerking the car in its wing. Thinking there was no way down I gunned the engine and we shot through the air. As we landed safely we heard the baby basilisk off the back of the car and it was all over.  Be glad this did not happen to you.

Most Popular Types of Sandals
By Teagan Kincade

Because the beginning of term is soon approaching, the big question "what to wear?" is on everyone's mind. And by this I mean shoes. It is still too hot to be wearing normal sneakers or slip-ons, so what does that leave? Sandals! The most common and most comfortable types of sandals are shown below. Fashion it out this fall and wear what's wright.

Huarache A Mexican sandal of woven leather thongs forming vamp. This sandal is most often chosen to wear with the bell dress because of the bright colors usually designed along the thongs. It has also been seen to add things such as flowers to accentuate colored toe nails.

Flip-flops or Zori originally a Japanese sandal with sponge rubber sole held on the foot by two straps which come up between the first and second toes and fasten to the side of the sole. This style of sandal is mostly worn by beach-going boys and girls and also with regular pairs of jeans. They come in all colors and sizes and are extremely comfortable for flat wear.

Gladiator flat with several wide cross straps to hold the sole to the foot and one wide strap around the ankle. Copied from sandals worn in roman arenas by gladiators. This style is mostly worn by boys as it is in no way feminine. The extra straps, however, keep the sandal on the foot better. Mostly made out of leather, or leather mimics, it also comes in many shapes and sizes.
Foreign Students?
By Harmony Hill

Sweden, China, Belgium, Russia, Romania and America have created a new program to help witches and wizards get to know each other from around the world and make friends. This new program is called I.F.M.W., International Friends from the Magical World. The program lets anyone (from the listed countries) to choose a country of their liking and study there for one year. The requirements are that you must be a fifth year and above and must know a minimal amount of English.

With this program, the exchange students will learn the cultures, traditions, language(s), education system, and daily life of the country they have chose to spend a year in. Their goal is to help develop future relationships and ties with every wizarding government and educate the students about the world outside of what they grew up in.

England has been debating whether or not to jump in and join the rest. It definitely has some major positives, but the people just have to wait and see what the Ministry decides. With any luck, they will join in and open the program to all the magical schools in England.
