3D 'POWER' Chao Drive
  People raise Chao to win the Chao Races and to be better than their mate's at Chao Racing and Chao Karate. To do that you need ro raise your Chao's stats. To do that you need to pick up items in the main levels which raise their levels bit-by-bit. You can pick up Chao Drives (like the one above) found in the 'GUN' robots and the watery drips madfe by Robotnik. And you can get animals which can not only make Chao stronger but also alter their appearences.

Chao Drives: In SA2B they come in four colours (the Dreamcast version had 5). There is a lot of debate about how much a Chao Drive is actually worth. Some say 8 and some reckon about 1-2. I think it varies with the Chao's age a bit. When they become adults they seem to get so much stronger so much quicker then Children. But if I had to come up with a figure it would be about 6.

Animals: These are quite easy to find and there are about 10 in each level. You can find them by whilstling by pipes or by smashing open your second or third chao box. Chao Island (affiliates) have a table on the animals.
