Many remember her as the shy and quiet girl.
"Don't be deceived", warn her closest friends. "She was an above normal teenager".
She knew how to choose good friends in high school.
Her close ally and friend reveals that she'd be on the phone for hours.
Jackie's trademark was her humility and simplicity, what you see is what you get.
After high school, Jackie graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) at the University of Santo Tomas.
In her senior in college, she won second place in the charcoal painting contest depicting "Nursing in the 80's".
With success in mind, she worked her way to travel and live in Singapore for several years.
She worked in a 1,700 bed Singapore General Hospital for five years as a Staff Registered Nurse.
Not content, she tried her luck in the United States.
While preparing herself for the California State Boards,she still found time to visit many tourist attractions.
As it is, destiny truly has its ways.
As she was staying at the Holiday Inn, she got to meet the man of her dreams.
He cured her ever-searching, tired heart.
Glenn proposed and after a year, she returned to the USA as his fiancee.
They have been married for eight years now and are ready to start a family.
Currently, she is a workaholic, working as a Charge Registered Nurse in a 100 bed Los Angeles area Hospital.
The hospital is owned by one of the largest hospital chains in the USA.
She works 12 hours night shifts, and on some occassions, would even work two-12 hour shifts at two different hospitals
during off-days from her full time position. There are even times that she'd work double shifts!!!
Her specialties are Med/Surg, ICU and ICU Stepdown.
Certainly, a woman with a bundle of energy.
Besides being a doglover, one of her many hobbies to ease her stressful career, is to travel to different parts of the world.
Coming from a family of world travelers,
Jackie has been to many countries such as Italy, France, Australia, Mexico, Thailand, Hongkong and Indonesia.
