Being the daughter of the late and great Filipino athlete and coach, Lauro and sister to the late basketball star Larry,
her surname may certainly sound familiar to many.
But in her own rights, many remember Cecile, who is fondly called "Mumi" by friends,
as the friendly cheerleader with flawless complexion.
"I was not a little devil in school, neither was I a saint", she says.
Yearly, she would mingle with different personalities which helped her see both sides clearly.
She proved her loyalty to Saint Paul and graduated Bachelor of Arts, Major in Communication.
In 1990, she left for the USA. There, like many a great Filipino stories, she climbed the ladder of success.
Today, she is the Store Director of the multi-million "Toys R Us" in Valencia, California.
Cecile enjoys her freedom and remains single, dedicating her free time to being both mother and friend
to her intelligent and attractive 15 year old daughter.
Apart from the this, she also is a wonderful daughter who tends to her widowed mother.
