Not that she isn't notorious, as she had her gimmicks too. Everyone knew who Yuyay was.
She easily managed to the hang-out with the "elders" in the batch and put laughter into their school lives.
She could not get over her loyalty medal on graduation day, so she decided to push for more.
She continued her college in SPCM, taking up Commerce, majoring in Business Administration.
"By that time, the high school honor students were already scattered in different colleges in Metro Manila,
which paved way for me to excel and receive the highest award
in college, Magna Cum Laude, on graduation day", says Yuyay.
More to that, she had become a double loyalty award recipient, the mark of a true-blooded Paulinian.
Yuyay spent the next twenty years in the hotel industry where she climbed the ladder to assume the post of
Public Relations Manager and Marketing Services Manager for a couple of top hotels in Metro Manila.
It was during this period that she met her beloved Benjie and got married.
She claims to be one of the last ones in the batch to do so.
They have two handsome boys.
Yuyay is presently back to her first love - studying - after having retired in 2000.
She is hoping to obtain a degree in computer, E-technology, while weekends brings her to La Salle for her MBA.
Yuyay with her beautiful heart and a thoughtful mind, still finds time to visit our sickly nuns
whom she hopes would be given more attention.
