I began writing to Daisy in January 2003. She is 15 years old. Daisy lives with her mother and 3 siblings in a small town near Kampala, the capital of Uganda. Her siblings are David, 21 years old; Rebecca, 18 years old; and Robert, 16 years old. They are all students, though currently Daisy is not able to attend school due to insufficient funds for school fees.
Daisy enjoys reading, gardening, singing in her school and church choirs, and watching football (ie ~ soccer). Her favorite team is the Manchester United.
