| Poonam is my second writing buddy through Compassion International. I write to Poonam because her sponsor, for one of various reasons, does not. She is 6 years old and lives with her mother, father, 1 brother, and 3 sisters in a small village in the state of Tripura, East India. Poonam attends Kindergarten, Sunday School, and Vacation Bible School. To help out around the house, Poonam assists with cleaning and carrying firewood. Her favorite activity is playing hide and seek with her friends. Poonam and her family speak Hindi.
