Fate : On the Way to the Church by Vassago (4/4/2001)
While Vassago was busy sitting at Market Square he saw 2 Nightmares pass him. This looked like his chance to take out one of the Nightmares leaders since Sharp looked very hurt to reasons unknown to him. He decided to follow them around for awhile till he noticed that they were going to their very own Church. Vassago decided to make his move, he started casting his Meteors towards Sharp which sent her tumbling further into hells den. When he nearly had her she disappeared from him but then he had to face rocks coming from Kirdan, another of the Nightmares which should be put down. Vassago was a fair bit better then Kirdan with the Meteors and soon had Kirdan reeling in surprise. Kirdan then fled from Vassago's hands, it was not Vassago's day for fighting. After all the fun had been taken out of Vassago's day he was then sent a tell from Sharp which said "How dare you fight me after all I've been through" I did not know what she meant by that but anyway i responded with "It does not matter what you've been through all i have thoughts of is Destruction and only Destruction".

The next day came by and Vassago was confronted by Seive. Vassago did not like Seive at all and Seive knows why that is so. Seive was determined to knock down Vassago with his meteors but I would not be taken down from him again. I finally found out why Seive was in the mood to kill me. It was the confrontation I had with Sharp yesterday that made him not so happy. I did not know the understanding of why Seive felt the way he did but all I can say is that he did not take too nicely to what i did.
Fate : Vassago's Humiliation by Kirdan (4/4/2001)
After Vassgo thought he was big and bad for fighting a mortally wounded Nightmare and an occupied escort, the end of his boasting days grew near. The word was out how Vassago treated Sharp.
Quickly Akihiro and Oaklore returned and Sylvaniana grouped up the possy and we strode off to Market Square, led by Mikey the Tank Vassago crumbled like a coward.
After he embarassed our leader we knew how to seek revenge. Mikey chopped down two tree and tied them into a Big Cross! The Cross was placed at Market Square with Vassago tied to it.
On the top was a magical sign saying I worship Nisstyre, the one true Lord! Underneath it you could read the words "I saccrificed my equipment to the Church of Nightmares"
From a distance you could hear blood curdling screams from Vassago yelling for help as the Followers of Sharp pelted him with stones. The screams ended very soon though cause Vassgo's clan aided his rescue.
Now when you pass Market Square you can here the mad cackles of Nisstyre as he is pleased with the fine work his followers have done.
Sharp has returned home, the fighting is over, but what does Sharp really think about Seive's final words to her?
Fate : The Plot thickens... by Jehovah (4/4/2001)
Meanwhile back in the temple...Jehovah was concentrating on a few old scrolls he had found detailing some rather useless spells. "Ithdodcry tayeenah...Damnit, I can't pronounce this." Setting the scroll down, he searched for a bite to eat. Before he could find anything he re- ceived a message from his long time comrade Seive Sorranan.

Now Seive and Jehovah had been the first of the followers of Nisstyre and had developed an intimate relationship that could have only been nurtured in the Church of Nightmares. He and Jehovah had fought along side each other for many years before Seive made the rather tough de- cision to continue his path of faith elsewhere. From that time on they remained friends and on occasion would call on each other when in need, or when facing a mutual opponent. Seive was Jehovah's mentor, and Jehovah was always willing to learn.

The message was weak, but with their strengthened connection Jehovah was able to decipher the podrikev's strange language. Seive was call- ing for help. But Jehovah did not translate the word Seive used as a call for physical help, no, it was a call for emotional help. Jehovah was sluggish to react, not quite knowing what he was in for. Always it had been a physical aid, a fight to help with or a wound to heal, and he was uncertain of his ability in this situation.

Although Jehovah could see where Seive was, his magic was useless in transferring his body to the location. Knowing that Seive would retreat to a secret enclosure from time to time, Jehovah decided that would be as good a place as any to look for him. The room had to be conjoined to the Shadow Thieves' clan hall, and getting in wouldn't be easy. Common sense told Jehovah to bribe a thief to gain entrance, and luck took care of the rest.

Before following Nisstyre, Jehovah had been in cahoots with the Thieves and knew the dark hallways and secret passages of their hall quite well, so once inside it didn't take him much time to locate a few possible locations of Seive's domain. Risking being found out, Jehovah started to call Seive's name at each of the locations, and at the third hollow wall, he heard a moan.

With an utterance of a few words, Jehovah became translucent and to his astonishment walked through the wall to find Seive rubbing his head and staring, quite obliviously, off into space. "Seive, old friend, what's wrong...as I left my clan hall in search of your room, I was met by KirDan and Sharp. KirDan was breathing heavily and Sharp looked as if she had been to hell and back. You called me Seive. I am here. What can I do to help?"
Fate : The Plot Thickens by Seive (4/5/2001)
Seive awakened to hear a familiar voice call out his name in hushed tones. Muttering to himself, and moaning in pain, Seive sat up as he watched a form phase through the wall. "This is getting complicated," he muttered as he saw Jehovah uncloak his presence.
After embracing his old comrade, Seive led Jehovah to the table and sat down, taking a long swig of wine. "I must have unconsciously called for help after being ambushed by Kirdan," he muttered.
Jehovah couldn't help but chuckle, knowing it wasn't easy to catch Seive by surprise. "Either Kirdan's better than we both think, or you're getting a bit old, eh?" Jehovah winked.
Seive tried to remain grumpy, but couldn't resist Jehovah's attempts to lighten his mood.
The two ate, drank, and talked of old times, of the old Church of Nightmares. However, Seive's mood eventually darkened again as they mulled over his forced removal from the Church.
After an especially long period of silence, Jehovah spoke up again. "So Seive, tell me of what happened with Sharp and Kirdan."
Seive sighed heavily. He did not take being rejected very easily, and didn't wish to let Jehovah know just what had happened. "Suffice to say that Sharp had a bit of a bad streak in battle, and I decided to step in and lend a hand."
Jehovah thought for a moment. "That doesn't explain Kirdan, Seive."
Seive's eyes dropped, and he slumped in his chair, uncomfortably fidgeting.
After all this time, Jehovah could sense his friend's body language, and stood up to leave. "Thanks for the food Seive, I'll be seeing you around, okay?"
After a barely noticable nod from Seive, Jehovah turned to make his way out of the hall. On his way back to the Church, he pondered what could have made Seive so distraught. Determined to help his friend, Jehovah decided he would approach Sharp alone to discuss this matter.
And then later, he decided, he would speak with Kirdan.
Jehovah suddenly had a thought, but quickly dismissed it. "The last time I saw Seive like this was when he first met Tawny...."
Jehovah thought again.
"Nah......."

*****************************************************

Seive watched Jehovah leave, and quickly recomposed himself. Jehovah would want to speak with Sharp and Kirdan to find out what really happened.
He was extremely interested to see how Sharp and Kirdan explained the events to Jehovah.
Taking a deep breath, he went out of the room to find Savior, Arkain, and ViWrathe.
Something had to be done about security. It wasn't good that these people kept showing up uninvited....
