Contact Secretariat

The Secretariat -- staff working in duty station - carries out the diverse day-to-day work of the Organization. It gives services and administers the programmes and policies laid down by the Central Executive Committee. At its head is the General Srecretary - Mr. Hemayet Hossain, who is appointed by the General Members. He has long & distinguished media career in Bangladesh. Mr. Hemayet Hossain is a senior journalist working with a reknown English daily in Bangladesh. He has contributed a lot to organise this forum through out Bangladesh and selected credible men-women who have dedication to the cause of democracy. He is actively supporting Democratic Presidential candidate John Kerry and he is committed to work for increasing supporters of John Kerry. With a view to that he will visit different parts of America and shall organise supporters meeting in favour of John Kerry starting form 1st week of September, 2004.

The duties carried out by the Secretariat are varied. These range from convening meetings, contacting variuos regional committees, contacting registered voters in USA through phone, fax, email, advocating through the relatives of the voters in Bangladesh, upgrading the web site everyday etc. Secretariat staff also inform the communications media both in Bangladesh as well as USA about their work and advocating to vote for Democratic Presidential candidate John Kerry , organize conferences in support of Jon Kerry .
