The door opened at J.K. Rowling's Official Site revealing many easter eggs and tidbits as usual. Including a riddle and three chapter names as clues. It is just speculation as to whether or not these are actual chapter names; however, JKR has never lead us astray before:
Chapter 2. Spinners End
Chapter 6. Draco's Detour
Chapter 14. Felix Felicis
The clues lead to a Happy Halloween! pumpkin

GoF Visual Effects
Australian company Rising Sun Pictures has signed on to create visual effects for the film Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire.
Says the Sydney Morning Herald:
The film's centrepiece, a magical goblet surrounded by flames, is one of the complex images the company will construct before the film's completion next August.
The company has previously worked on such films as Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow, The Last Samurai and The Lord of the Rings.
The Public Choice Award at the World Soundtrack Awards went to John Williams for the Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban soundtrack. The awards were a part of the 31st Flanders International Film Festival in Bijloke, Ghent.
Harry Potter author J.K. Rowling said Friday that one of her characters will not survive the next book in her series about the young wizard.
Asked on her official Web site whether she planned to kill off any more characters, Rowling replied, "Yes, sorry." But she refused to identify that character.
The sixth book in the series, "Harry Potter And The Half-Blood Prince," is due to be published next year.
Potter himself is safe, at least for now. Rowling has previously said her teenage hero will survive until the seventh and final book in the series, but has refused to say whether he will reach adulthood.
"You have to wait and see whether he survives to be a grown-up," Rowling said in August.
The 39-year-old author keeps the plots of her novels tightly under wraps, teasing fans with morsels of information.
Before the publication of her last installment, "Harry Potter and The Order Of The Phoenix," she said a major character would die. Readers had to wait until the book appeared last year to discover the victim was Harry's mentor, Sirius Black.
Empire Magazine's list of the 100 Sexiest Stars of All Time is hitting newsstands along with their November 2004 issue - and Jason Issacs makes the list, somewhere down below Orlando Bloom, who's the top name on the male side (Kiera Knightly is on the female side). Thanks to Kate for letting us know!
Jason Issacs plays Lucius Malfoy in the Harry Potter movies.
Harry Potter creator JK Rowling has praised Sunday Mirror readers for their fight to end the torture of Czech children.
More than 3,000 of you wrote in demanding action after we revealed how "mentally ill" children in bleak, State-run homes are kept locked up for up to 23 hours a day.
Younger children are kept in "cages" 4ft high. Older youngsters live in 8ft by 3ft cells with bars up to the ceiling. Ms Rowling, who is pregnant with her third child, said last night: "I am delighted that Sunday Mirror readers have spoken out in such numbers against the use of cage beds.
"I hope this takes us a step nearer the abolition of this dreadful practice."
Campaigning Euro-MP Emma Nicholson, 63 - who is leading the fight to help the children - will next week meet Czech Prime Minister Stanislav Gross and present him with the Sunday Mirror protest letters.
JK Rowling has stated that today, Oct. 4 is Professor Minerva McGonegall's birthday!

Happy 74th Birthday Richard Harris!
Richard Harris, who was born in Limerick, Ireland on October 1, 1930, would have been 74 years old today. Richard Harris was Albus Dumbledore in the first two Harry Potter movies, but was previously most famous for A Man Called Horse and King Arthur in Camelot. He only agreed to be Dumbledore after his then 11-year-old granddaughter threatened never to speak to him again if he didn't.
