Well, as many of you know, I'm a big wrestling fan. And among those pursuits within the sports entertainment world, first and foremost in my mind will always be the years I spent as "Hoyakillah" (and yes, for you neophytes, that's the origin of the name) in the LWN, EWA, and EFWO2K Efeds. What's an efed? Well, simply put, it's a virtual wrestling federation, where the characters, run by handlers, compete against each other both in written-out matches and through promos. I was both a character and a booker - which meant that I was writing matches. Pretty good ones, I'd like to think. I retired in March, 2001, but I'd like to think I've left my own little niche in the Efed world, or at least the small galaxy controlled by the LWN/EWA/EFWO/ICW/EMMF/CHF/ICW/BCW crew.
In fact, this website was originally for my character. That can be accessed here. But I've put some more stuff on here.
Here's my character description, the last one that was done - it's possible that this would be updated if I ever "returned to the ring," but right now the chances of that are VERY slim.
I also included what I consider to be my all-time favorite RPs that I've ever written. You can read them all here:
Why... Questions Revealed. The oldest promo here, and in my opinion, my BEST ever.
Demons
The Prince (and yes, that is a Machiavelli reference)
Rumors
The Inquisition
A Dance of A Different Kind... and this one is interesting because I didn't write it alone - it was a complete collaboration, across the Pacific Ocean, in real-time, between me and my friend Mel (from Australia) who goes under the handle "The Amarantha." See if you can sense the tension between the two characters - we didn't know, when writing it, where things would go, and I think it comes through well.
But I didn't just spend my time in the Efed (although if you want to pay a visit, tell 'em I said hi). I'm also a fan both of your typical American wrestling (WWF, etc.) and more exotic, international wrestling. I also hang out in what can be called the "Internet wrestling community" - to read a piece I wrote on that, click here for the Official Hoyakillah Guide to Being a Smart Mark.
