Start to do a basic braid at the top of the head by separating 3 small strands of hair. After crossing each strand over once begin to pull hair from the side of the head and join it to the braid by placing it on top of the next strand of hair to be crossed into the braid.
Keep each strand of hair even with the rest by pulling hair from the sides in the same thickness as eachother. But add more hair to the strands as you start to reach the back of the neck and the end of the braid.
When you finish the braid (run out of hair to add) do a basic braid down to the tip of the hair and fasten.
I like to fasten with a small band and then pin the tail up inside the braid. But you can do whatever you like, leave the tail out, rollup and put in a scrunchy. Whatever!
