| "You okay babe?"he said; casually glancing over. Babe? Oh hell No!" Who the fuck do you think you think you're talking to?" "You didn't like?"he propped himself up his elbow. She couldn't deny that her body derived pleasure from his blunt force but that wasn't the point here. He basically forgot she was there."That's not the point." "But it is Di. You liked being fucked until it hurt,"he smirked as his fingers ran across her cheek. She jerked back."No I didn't. What happened to you?" "I was just doing what you wanted me to do to you. Now I think you need to leave. Wouldn't want your little Nicky to worry about you,"he quipped. Boom! She could feel her heart being ripped to shreds with his coldness. She turned away and started gathering her clothes. She dressed quickly and looked back to find his back turned to her. Asshole! Even she had feelings. She slipped her key card through the slot and heard the noises. The same noises she'd been making herself not ten minutes ago were coming out of her room. Damn him! Then again she was no better but he didn't know she was doing anything wrong. He'd been doing this for months with no clue about her knowledge of it. She quietly eased the door closed and went downstairs to the buses. At least she had somewhere to go, even if she had nobody. He looked out of the hotel window as the last of the city lights dissipated. God! What had he done? He was falling for her. Falling hard. But that was impossible. He just couldn't be, could he? He won. What was the big deal? He got what he wanted right? No. He wanted her but he couldn't have her. She belonged to somebody else. No she didn't. Nick didn't give jack shit about her unless he couldn't find him a young piece of ass for the evening. She was his sure thing and she let him do it. He'd seen her turn her head a million times because of it. Nobody said anything because they figured that maybe they were into some weird shit they needed to know nothing about but he knew she'd spent many a night alone because of it. Despite the hard exterior she put on, he saw that soft side last night and it was haunting him now more than ever because he was in love with her. He couldn't deny it. And he screwed it up by treating her like another piece of ass. There was no way in hell she'd ever speak to him. He sighed and returned to his packing. He looked over at the clock on the bedside table. Six forty five. He slung his bag over his shoulder and made his way downstairs. |
| She sat with her knees drawn against her chest. She hadn't slept a wink. She knew that she wouldn't either once Nick bounded on the bus cuz she'd be his next conquest for the day; regardless of what he'd gotten the night before. She let him use her all the time as well. Maybe she deserved what she got last night. Nobody deserves what you got last night Diannna she scolded herself. You deserve to be loved just like everybody else in the world. And she was loved. At least she thought she was until Howie pulled that shit. Yes Howie. Not Nick. She and Nick, for the lack of a better term were fuck buddies these last few months but Howie had always challenged her mind. Nick knew how to use his body, he just didn't know how to truly seduce a woman. Maybe he didn't want to yet. He was still young but it hurt just the same every time she found him with another woman now that she thought about it. She pushed aside the curtain concealing the view outside and met with those eyes; those big chocolate eyes. He stood there; staring up at the clouded blue eyes he'd tried avoiding so many times as he tried to sleep last night. He wanted to reach out to her, comfort her, something but he was the one that caused her that pain. There was no way she'd let him in after that little stunt he pulled last night. She bit her lip; the tears welling up in her eyes. Do something, anything. She hated him for what he did to her but she wanted him to come to her, say something. Something was better than nothing. They couldn't leave things as they were, could they? Fuck! she didn't know what she wanted anymore. He'd done torn her apart. She couldn't fight the flood of tears and finally broke down. She closed the curtain and continued sobbing He picked up his bag and turned his wrist to see the time. Seven A.M. The time he found his heart ....and the time he broke hers. |
