Missy impatiently paced and looked at her watch.  Dammit Sherl!  Where are you?  You were supposed to be here a half an hour ago.   Just as she turned she saw Sherl appear."Where the hell have you  been?"
"We got a little behind okay?  Sorry.  I take it you're ready to go."
"As ready as I'm ever gonna be.  Let's go."
On their way out, Melissa ran into that wall of a man she knew so well.  She looked up and was lost in those eyes again. It had been nearly four months since she'd seen him.   He was just as shocked but he missed her so much his heart ached for her constantly.  Was this the sign that he had prayed for since that day?  One could only hope.
Sherl and AJ had long since played their roles in this intervention and were discreetly making their presence unknown(at least they thought so).
"Hi,"he solemnly broke the silence.
"Hello,"she politely returned.
"You look very good."
"Thank you.  For two hours of performing you're not looking so bad yourself,"She quipped trying to break the once again awkwardness falling between them.
"You know, I thought I'd never see you again."
"I was beginning to think that one myself."
"I read the book."
"You like it?"
"You wrote it.  How could I not?"
She smiled graciously.
"So tell me something Mis?"
"Yeah?"
"That poem at the end, Prince Charming?"
She nodded.
"Have you found him yet?"
"I hope so,"she smiled up into those hope filled eyes of his.
Their lips met as though they'd never kissed and as though they would never again.
Melissa had noticed the two out of the corner of her eye."Did you catch all that?"
"Every single bit."
"Good.  Then you won't have to read the book to find out what happens next."
