House of Love is a non-profit government organization established in 2008 under the patronage of Salvation Army, Kuching. Was founded by WeCare group. Our aim is to serve the kids with love and care abundantly. Not to forget, we help our kids to nurture in a good way in both spiritual and physical. We work closely with Ministry of Women, Family & Community Development to assist the adoption process and to quickly matched up and placed our kids with suitable parents.

    There is a alarmingly high number of orphans and unwanted babies placed in orphanages which is shocking considering that there are many couples who wish to adopt.  House of Love is seeking to lessen the number of children in orphanages. Most orphanages are often ill-resourced to provide children the kind of love, attention and safety that could be offered by families.  Orphans and children who spend most of their childhood in orphanages often grow up with low self esteem resulting in behavioral problems, delinquency and  poor academic performance.   Many leave orphanages at the age of 18 without a family support system making it difficult for them to make a good start in life.

    House of Love aims is to help change society’s mindset towards orphans, knowing that children should not be left permanently in orphanages before they are placed with families who can bring them up in a proper family organization.
