Posted :03/10/2002:  Hi. I was wondering if you could give me the correct firing order for a 69 383 roadrunner and the correct plug wire routing. I have one that the previous owner put the mopar performance electronic ignition on and it has a problem with backfiring through the exhaust intermittently. Once up to speed it seems to be ok. I wasn't sure if it could be a problem with the firing order or the timing perhaps? Or could it have a burnt valve? Any info would be appreciated. Posted :12/9/01:  I have a 1970 Road Runner with a 383 that I just got back from being rebuilt. I put everything together and after I put the coolant in, I found that some of the exhaust header bolts are leaking coolant.... Was I supposed to put some king of sealant on them before I installed them? Some one told me that the bolts go thorough the water jackets and that is why they leak....  [email protected].  To reply to this question click here:  .

challengers?...someone told me they were all the same so I bought one
but it looks like it isn't wide enough from side to side? ( it is an

Posted: 12/4/01:  I have been looking for a RoadRunner jacket for my husband (he recently purchased a SUPER '69 RoadRunner). I have been told that jackets are usually available at car shows--but there are not many shows in this neck of the woods (PA)--at this time of the year--can you help me? Posted: 08/28/01:  I recently had my prayers answered, after 16 years of watching a 69 Roadrunner fall apart in a neighborhood garage, it finally came home, to me. It is a long story and I'll submit some other time. My question is, can you recommend a website for me to input my VIN and verify the correct color paint? If you would like I'll send the VIN to you to make it easier for both of us. What I'm looking for is the color the car was originally. I have seen 69's with the black stripes on the hood, I have also seen them without. I don't know if mine is supposed to have it or not, also, I want to be sure when I paint it, the color is in fact the right color of blue. Thank you for your time.    Click here to view posted answer.
