Denzel Washington went to Fordham University were he studied journalism. At Fordham he started acting in school plays. After college Denzel moved to San Francisco were Mr. Washington joined American Conservatory Theater (A.C.T) for about a year.Denzel Washington first movie was Carbon copy. Denzel also appeared on the medical show St. Elsewhere were Washington played Dr. Chandler for six years.
