| John Norum keeps his playing intense but keeps his use of effects to a minimum of the effects that were listed on the previous page, but if you read that page and want to know more stuff like what he sets his pedals at, and stuff like that then here's some cool info. Final Countdown: On Final Countdown he used a Rat Distortion Pedal with his JCM 800 for Rhythms, and for solos he used Boss Distortion SD-1 and a Super Boss Overdrive mixed together. Mix the pedals on about half on each pedal but tweak it just right, ya don't want too much. Total Control: On Total Control he used the 65 strat with Dimarzio HS-3 and the Boss Overdrive OD-1 (the old one with 2 knobs) and the amp was the 73' Marshall 50 watt stock.
