Section A : General Requirements & Member Conduct
A1. Future members must have a basic knowledge of equines.
A2. Future members must be age 13 or over to participate in Nevada Rain. (COPPA Act, 1998)
A3. Future members must have had experience in email-based SIMs before. (Horseland, Equintium, Pony Box, etc., message-board SIMs, and RPGs do not count.)
A4. Future members must have an active e-mail that they check frequently that they can use to play Equestrianne. If you do not have an e-mail that you want to use for Nevada Rain, you may make one at one of these many sites:

A5. Future members must be fluent in the English language to participate in Nevada Rain.
A6. Joining members must send in the form with a real name. (ex: NOT horselover98323)
A7. Please refrain from advertising other sites on any part of the game (excluding the specific board on the forum)
A8. You may not have the same name as another member of the game. I will notify you upon joining if you chose a name an Nevada Rain member is already using.
A9. Please do not join the game using mulitple e-mail addresses.
A10. Please do not join the game and then create multiple accounts.
A11. Nevada Rain has a current member limit of 20 people, so join quickly!
Section B : Members
B1. All Nevada Rain members begin the game with $1,000,000. You must keep track of your own money, staff will not do it for you.
B2. Members must respond to an activity check monthly. There, members will be asked their bank balance.
B3. If Nevada Rain staff find you to be lying about your bank statement, any global moderator/admin has the right to suspend/ban you from the game.
B4. When writing checks, members should use the following format:
To: Person's member name who you are sending the money order to
From: Your member name
Amount: The amount of money that you are sending to the other member in this money order
For: What you are sending the money for (what you are purchasing)
Date: The day you sent the money order/check, whatever you call it
Signed: Your member name
Section C : Roleplaying
C1. You may roleplay other human characters and even equines aside from your main one, including the ones you own and ride. These characters can be your family, friends, workers and show riders. They can compete with your horses in shows when you are showing another one in the same class.
C2. Please refrain from role-playing in any area of the site except the 'Roleplay' section on the Forum.
C3. Be appropriate & realistic when roleplaying. I may later make other non-equine places where your charcters can role-play around town.
C4. The other characters that you roleplay may interact with other characters that other members may roleplay. They can trail ride together, show in competitions, or train horses together, whatever you want!
Section D : Horses
D1. You are allowed to create two free horses when you join Nevada Rain. You create these 2 horses on the forum
D2. Only the owner of a horse may transfer the ownership of the equine. Not the buyer.
D3. If you wish to import/export an equine, post in the appropriate board on the forum. An admin will accept your request before the importation/exportation is complete. When importing, a horse's points go back down to 0.
D4. When entering your horses in a show, you are not allowed to have more than 15 of them in the same class. They all must have different riders, and you can use yourself, the other characters you roleplay, or hired riders. (Coming Soon) This only applies to horses you own in the same class.
D5. No two horses in the Equine Database may have the same show name. However, if there was a horse named Midnight Star and a horse named Twilight Star, they could both have the barn name Star. However, if you know for a fact that another horse shares your horse's barn name (nick name) then use the show name on the forum instead of the barn name when roleplaying.
D6. Horses age 1 year every two months. Horses age on the first of these months: January, March, May, July, September, November.
D7. To have your horse aged, please send in the form at the Extension Office every two months. You will be reminded to by NR staff.
D8. Horses should have a visit to the vet and farrier at least once every month.
D9. All horses must live at a boarding stable or your own private/mini barn.
D10. No horse should be overworked or overshown. You may not enter your horse in more than 2 shows that have their run date in the same week. (ex: If you enter a horse in a show with a run date of October 16th and one with a run date of October 18th, you may not enter the horse in a show with a run date of October 17th.) If you disobey this rule, the horse that you overworked will have all of its points deducted and it will be taken to the Humane Society.
D11. Members may not make up a horses pedigree unless they have a knowledge that the horse has been bred on the game.
Section E : Breeding
E1. A mare's gestation period in Nevada Rain is 2 months, which in Nevada Rain time would translate into 1 year. (Yes, we know that in RL it is 11 months)
E2. The date in which the breeding is posted (on the forum) by the mare/stallion's owner is the date that the mare is bred.
E3. Bred mares are not allowed to show in anything but Halter after 1 month of gestation.
E4. Members may only breed up to 5 horses a month. However, if you have a private breeding stable, you can breed up to 15 a month.
E5. A mare must be at least 4 years to be a dam, a stallion must be at least 3 years to be a sire.
E6. Mares may only have 5 foals a year.
E8. Equine's breeding partners should be realistic. (ex: You may not breed a Shetland Pony to a Shire)
Stallions 18hh and Over-Min. Height: 14 hh
Stallions 17 hh-Min Height-13 hh
Stallions 16 hh-Min Height-12 hh
E9. To view the mares that have been bred, and their due dates, visit the Extension Office.
