I am a 36 year old profesional artist who creates art in a variety of medias. I am a member of the National Carousel Association, and enjoy designing carousel animals. I am honored to say that one of my past achievements included being presented with the Haney Award for Artistic Achievement in 1986 at theMetropolitan Museum of Art in New York City for my pen and ink drawings,

I am considered Staten Isalnd's carousel historian and have a huge collection and wealth of photos and information on the past 100 years of carousels that once spun on Staten Island. Some of my carousel designs were used by The Carousel Works Carousel Company of Ohio. A design I helped create is currently displayed on a full sized wooden carousel right in Staten Island New York. I have also spent over 10 years working in conjunction with the NYC Parks Dept. in Staten Island in order to help bring a carousel back to Staten Island for it's children.

My art skills are not limited to pen drawings and carousels. I also enjoy working in clay, creating metal scupltures, carving wood, handmaking and repair ing stuffed animals, restoring vintage toys and painting period work on carousel horses both full sized and curio sized.

My specailty and first love is customising stablemate sized models and the model horse hobby. I have been involved with model horses since 1979 and been customising horses since 1980. I started selling model horse tack through JAH magazine ads in 1984. Over the years I have turned out small amounts of quality customized stablemates and tack. Due to my demanding personal life (I care for my disabled son) my time to create models & costumes is limited . When I do start a project, I like to work very carefully on it and put my love and available time into it by adding precise and exacting minute detail. The love shows in the quality of my work.
