My name is Ashley and I'm a member of 4-H and ARBA. I've been owning rabbits for 8 years now. Just owning a rabbit is rewarding and enjoyment. I remember getting my first rabbit for my birthday.
I went to the pet store to look at the rabbits; then I've seen a nice fawn buck; I wanted him really bad; so I've told the person I want that rabbit. After that; I told the person that I wanted him. My first rabbit was a Mix Breed buck; who I named Rockie. Rockie was a beautiful rabbit who loved to run around. He was the best rabbit that anybody can have. Rockie would always like to follow me around; also we would also play "tag". What Rockie would do is he would try and catch me and once I've stopped and would wrap his leash around my ankles so I wouldn't run. Rockie was a funny little guy!
Rockie was 5 years old when he died; and I stil miss him to this day. That's why I've started this rabbitry to remember Rockie. I always shown Rockie in 4-H even though he never won. When Rockie was at the fair he would always go back and forth in his cage; and everybody who seen Rockie loved his personality.
Besides rabbits, I love to ride horses!!! I've been riding for 9 years riding horses is my passion to ride and show.
Besides just rabbit and horses, I also love dogs too! I have a dog of my own. His name is Casper he is a wonderful Maltese. Casper loves to watch the bunnies in the pen and Casper's favorite pal is Gallagher.
